Glen Elgin Eco Carers
The Glen Elgin Eco Carers’ Landcare group formed in 2010 to raise awareness of the area's endangered ecological community – Eucalyptus pauciflora (snow gums) - and to bring landholders together to strategically protect this remnant community from invading grasses (Chilean Needle grass, Whisky grass, and Serrated Tussock) and pest animals such as deer, feral cats, foxes and rabbits.

Friends of the Colo
Friends of the Colo is a Landcare Group formed in 2000 to assist the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and other Colo River catchment landowners in eradicating introduced pest species, like Willows, Lantana, Cape Ivy, Tree of Heaven and Honey Locust from the World Heritage Wollemi Wilderness Area and the land that surrounds. The group has about 12 activities each year, varying from a weekend to a week in duration. Most activities are in remote and trackless parts of the Wollemi Wilderness, so they are suitable only for experienced bush walkers or pack rafters.

Gresford District Landcare Group
We meet at 7:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday each month (except January) at the Beatty Hotel, East Gresford. We manage various Natural Resource Management (NRM) Projects including field days, workshops and seminars. During summer we also sometimes have a working bee and bbq at the Gresford Camping Ground swimming hole.

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife is a not-for-profit organisation that cares for Australia's natural and cultural heritage. It is a fundraiser and grant-maker. The Foundation works closely with Landcare Australia, and organises Corporate Environmental Volunteer Events at a number of iconic National Parks.
