Riverwatch Projects
Riverwatch has been involved in many projects to improve the health of the Shoalhaven River. Many of these projects have been possible through Federal, State and Local government funding as well as considerable hours from our Riverwatch volunteers. Our major focus has been to improve the stability of riverbanks by undertaking Bank Restoration work using a number of different techniques. Funding has also been obtained to undertake a number of River Studies as input to State and Local Government to adopt a comprehensive Management Plan for the Shoalhaven River Other projects that Riverwatch has been involved included Floodgate Design, Publications and River Clean Up campaigns.

A team of young adventurous volunteers (late teens to 30's) who travel around assisting different groups with adventure conservation projects.

Need some ideas for water and erosion control on your property?
Central Tablelands Landcare with assistance through a non-competitive Landcare grant from the Central Tablelands LLS is bringing Cam Wilson to our district so that we can learn first hand some ideas for tackling erosion and slowing water in our local area. This will be a great follow up for our members that visited Mulloon Creek a few years ago.

Fish Habitat Network
The Fish Habitat Network is made up of organisations and people dedicated to making more fish naturally by protecting and rehabilitating fish habitat. Fish habitat includes the vegetation along the banks of waterways and instream habitat such as snags as well as freshwater and estuarine wetlands, mangrove forests and floodplains.

Lithgow Oberon Landcare Association (LOLA)
The Lithgow Oberon Landcare Association assists with the financial and project management undertaken by member groups in the Lithgow Oberon area including revegetation, bush regeneration, weed control, workshops and minor soil erosion management. LOLA also directs the Local Landcare Co-ordinator in the region - currently housed with local government. Watershed Landcare Incorporated
Watershed Landcare is a community Landcare group encompassing the towns and surrounding villages of Mudgee, Rylstone and Gulgong in the Central Tablelands of NSW. Our area covers approximately 900,000 ha (9000 km 2) stretching to Gulgong in the north, Burrendong Dam in the west, the Turon River in the south and the Wollemi National Park in the east.
