Berry Landcare participated in the celebration and launch of Boomerang Bags Berry by setting up a stall with posters and handouts promoting "plant local", the "health benefits of contact with nature", the Berry Wildlife corridor and Berry Landcare activities, complemented by giving away pots and tube-stock of locally indigenous rain-forest species. The Boomerang Bags initiative will reduce the use of plastic bags in Berry and are made by local volunteers from recycled fabrics
