Rain cuts short Bitou Buster morning

On Saturday 26th July, 14 brave and hardy Bitou Busters turned up at the new meeting spot in Yamba Street for a morning of pulling up bitou.
Within five minutes it started to drizzle then it became heavier and it looked like being set in for the day.
It was decided that coffee at Benchmark was the best course of action.
A good decision, as it then rained on and off for the rest of the day.
Over coffee Jill Madden launched the Landcare Gateway site, explaining the benefits of having this form of communication by providing a platform for Landcare groups in NSW to share their stories and upcoming events so that we may all learn from each other.
A reminder about the dune  stabilisation, planting and plaque installation on Wednesday 6th August.
Meet at the southern end of Beach Road at 9am - 12.30pm. Please note the starting time.
