K2C is pleased to hold this forum/workshop presented by Debbie Hunt and Alison Whealing (Office of Environment and Heritage).

Within the K2C region there are many community-conservation groups each wanting to develop and promote their messages more clearly, present those messages successfully through the media, win over greater community support, open up financial pockets to support conservation, develop the skills of members and recruit new members who might share in the running of their  organisation … and the list goes on. The forum/workshop addresses these aspirations.

Debbie (Community Engagement and Development Officer) and Alison (Senior Project Officer, Communications, Conservation Programs) are employed by OEH to help build community group strength and organisation.

This is a free event and morning tea and lunch are included.

To register: Please provide name, phone & email address to Geoff Robertson (geoffrobertson@iprimus.com.au/0403 221 117/6241 4065).

This event is sponsored by K2C partners: OEH, Queanbeyan, & ACT Environment, Planning Sustainable Development Directorate.
