Member consultation workshop on Strategic Planning, 5-8pm, 5 July

Member consultation workshop for Southern ACT and Ginninderra Catchment Groups Strategic Planning
  • When 05 Jul, 2017 from 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM (Australia/Sydney / UTC1008)
  • Add event to calendar iCal

Southern ACT Catchment Group (SACTCG) and Ginninderra Catchment Group (GCG) are working on the development of new strategic plans to guide the work of the two groups into the future. The two catchment groups are undertaking this process together, so that where appropriate the two strategies will complement and reinforce one another.

SACTCG and GCG will now undertake the plans in house and are very grateful for the support of the ACT Government’s Environment and Sustainable Planning Directorate in this process. This is a continuation of the work which was initiated by previous consultants towards the end of 2016. The Catchment Coordinators (Karissa and Martine) will develop these plans guided by a working group that includes the ACT Government‘s Water and NRM Teams.

This workshop will to get input from catchment group members and landholders early in the planning process. This is to ensure our organisations will be responding to and meeting member needs over the next 10 years. John Feint from the ACT Catchment Management and Water Policy Team will be facilitating the evening.

Dinner will be provided.

RSVP essential for catering purposes.  Please RSVP by 30th June to:

Karissa at Ginninderra (landcare@ginninderralandcare.org.au) or Martine at Southern ACT (info@sactcg.org.au).
