Lithgow Oberon Landcare Association Inc
The Lithgow Oberon Landcare Association (LOLA) assists with the co-ordination and ongoing development of Landcare and natural resource management strategies and activities including revegetation works, bushland regeneration, and sustainable agriculture farming across the Lithgow and Oberon Local Government Areas.
Focus of Activities:
- Raise community capacity and awareness, participation in Landcare activities and volunteering in the community;
- Coordinate on ground works according to landscape-scale planning and strategic catchment based frameworks;
- Provide a range of training and educational opportunities to support natural resource management and sustainable agriculture activities; and to
- facilitate increased opportunities for partnership, information and knowledge sharing between landholders, Landcare groups and state government agencies.
