This is the best coastal walk in the Sydney area. It offers sweeping clifftop views, amazing liesegang iron patterns in clifftop sandstones, attractive and varied bushland including coastal heath, diverse eucalypt woodland, abundant macrozamias (burrawangs) littoral rainforest, sheltered eucalypt forest and coastal swamp. You'll have the option of a swim at Maitland Bay – a beautiful and secluded beach only accessible by boat or on foot.
