Carwoola Low-cost erosion workshop

Upper Murrumbidgee Landcare and Carwoola Landcare are hosting a workshop run by Earth Integral on low-cost solutions for small scale erosion problems on your property. This is a free activity open to all interested landholders, however spaces are limited.

Course outline: The workshop aims to give you hands on experience in building a variety of erosion control and sediment retention structures, suited to common issues faced in the region, and using locally available materials.You will also gain an understanding of the causes and trajectory of erosion on your property, as well as the natural vegetation-controlled repair processes, which provides a
framework for deciding how and where you’ll obtain the most benefit from your efforts.
Facilitator: Cam Wilson has extensive experience in landscape restoration and rehydration in the
Southern Tablelands and beyond, and has taught this course to numerous Landcare groups in the region.


When: 8:30am (sharp) to 3pm

with the practical demonstration at a neighbouring property

What to bring: Workboots, hat, gloves, sunscreen, water bottle
