The Wollondilly Community Nursery grows a variety of different native plants from all over Wollondilly Shire. From small native grasses like Kangaroo Grass, groundcovers such as Hardenbergia, shrubs like the native mint through to the huge Eucalypts of our woodland areas. We even have plants for the frog pond.

Whether you live on a suburban block or on the farm we have a native plant to suit your needs.

Put simply, the mission of the Wollondilly Community Nursery is to help in the appropriate revegetation of the Shire.

Volunteers can work in the communtiy mandala garden growing heirloom and open pollinated varieties, the herb spiral and the native habitat garden.

The Wollondilly Community Nursery is not just a nursery though; it’s also a community resource centre where local environmental, conservation and community groups can hold meetings, training days and other events. Organisations such as WIRES, the Wollondilly Garden Club, Wollondilly Regenerators and Propagators, Wollondilly Resilience Network and Fairy Wren Food Hub and local Landcare groups meet and train there on a regular basis.
