2017 NSW Landcare and Local Land Services Conference bound for Albury in October
The 2017 NSW Landcare and Local Land Services Conference has been announced to be held in Albury in late October.
Albury will host the 2017 NSW Landcare and Local Land Services Conference, attracting up to
400 delegates from across the state to the region, including a large contingent of Local Land Service staff and Local Landcare Coordinators.
Held every two years, the conference showcases community-driven land management projects across NSW and the partnerships and volunteers that make them possible.
The conference will also feature the 2017 NSW Landcare Awards.
A committee of Local Land Services staff and community volunteers (known as the Murray Landcare Collective) is already well into the planning, with visions of an exciting program of presentations, field trips and extra-curricular activities, all with a distinctly local flavour.
The committee has already secured the services of well-known local ABC broadcaster and passionate Landcare advocate Anne Delaney as the master of ceremonies.
The conference will take place at the Albury Entertainment Centre from 25 to 27 October.
